Online Shopping Recently, I’ve been doing alot of e-shopping. Within the span of 1 month, I had like 3 packages shipping to me. 2 via vPostUSA and 1 via my friend.
The first package I ordered and shipped via vPostUSA is overcharged. I was charged 4kg instead of 0.4kg. Prolly a typo error but that typo error made me pay like SGD$30 more. I was stunned since before they shipped to me, I was asked to pay the outrageous amount of shipping charges (think it was $50+) for just a few tees. In order not to delay, I just paid giving them benefit of the doubt (and also thinking I was given extra stuff from the retailer, silly i know). So when I received the package, I knew it was a mistake since it weigh 0.4kg when I put on my own weighing machine. I immediately called up vPostUSA and explained to them. The customer service girl by the name of Esther was very friendly and guide me with the steps to get my refund. Upon knowing that I need to go to the singpost to “verify and endorse” that my package is indeed 0.4kg and not 4kg, I drove down straight to the singpost and got them to verify. The uncle at the counter was clueless how to process such stuffs. I had to call back vPostUSA and asked the customer service girl to talk to the uncle on MY phone. I was already pissed off and didn’t really bother cause all I want was my refund. After doing the documentation and shit, I finally came home with my package and was told that my cheque (excess amount that they charged me) will be sent to me. One week later, NOTHING came. I called back and now they told me it will come in ANOTHER 2 weeks. I didn’t bother to argue since I had another package with them and did not want them to “blacklist” my package.
The other package was the Ralph Lauren. I ordered 4 pieces of Ralph Lauren polos from their online store and now, the package has already reached Singapore. It should be reaching me in around a few days time, prolly on Thursday. Once I get my Ralph Lauren polos, I’ll then call them up to blast them and get back my bloody refund.
Online shopping makes it so easy to MAKE (take money away from you) payment BUT when it comes to taking back money, they will hell take you 2384283478238478 times slower then having payment made.
