I just completed an assignment on DMDW (some module I’m taking). I would want to rant on the assignment questions. It was super unprofessional done that the document file ended up looking like some 5 years old trying to use Microsoft Words for the first time. Not only that, the REQUIREMENTS was not clear. It is so unclear as to what the lecturer wants us to do.

When one ask a question, he/she would sure say that you’re on the right track and yada yada yada.. When another one which is doing a completely different thing, he/she will also say that it is correct. I mean like, if you suck at this module, please try DON’T ever teach that module.

Ah, I don’t know how to put it in words but it is frustrating to do DMDW assignment because even you WANT to do it, you don’t know WHERE to start.

Saturday 15/11/08

Early in the morning, I had to go back to school as it was “Parents Day” in Singapore Polytechnic (or rather all the polytechnics). The reason is because my Final Year Project has been selected to represent my course (Diploma in Business Information Technology) to be showcased to the parents. Yes, it was double happines for me since my FYP was selected for both the Parents Day and Spinnovex. Hopefully, it will also be selected for the media interview which will be screened on News in mediacorp channels ! My hardwork really paid off this time.

The timing was from 11am to 5.30pm. It was damn long but its okay since we are busy playing Counter Strike three quater of the time when the parents were not around. The parents would come in buses and when a bus come, we will be damn busy trying to explain what our project is about and how we’ve used our knowledge gained in DBIT to develop it. A little bullshit but what to do, haha.

Later at night, I went to celebrate my friend’s birthday at Discovery Bar @ Chijmes. Parked the car Raffles City and beloved waiting for me after her work at there. Chijmes parking was SGD$9 per entry, liek wtfs? Anyway, before hand, I called up Raffles City to check if their car park is 24 hours and indeed it was 24 hours. HOWEVER, the entrance was not 24 hours. I had go by the way the car go into the carpark to actually get in ! Whats worst is that I parked at B2 instead of B1. The music and ambience at Discovery Bar was not that bad ! Just that I find the place a lil too small. Had to leave earlier since beloved will be working the next day.

Sunday 16/11/08

Had my lunch at Ju Shin Jung Korean Charcoal BBQ at Yess Centre (Near west coast highway). It was to celebrate my uncle’s and li xiang’s birthday. The food there seriously cannot make it. I don’t know how to describe but it was totally not to my liking. After that, proceeded to Orchard to collect my agnes b tee which was sent for alteration. Next was to collect my Sony DSC-150 Camera (8.1 Megapixels) at Sony @ Paragon. Went to Isetan Scotts @ Shaw to take a look at the fred perry (Made in Japan) but was a little disappointed with the range. Instead, I got a Calvin Klein formal shirt. The material is much better then Zara. Much more “cooling”.

As beloved was working at the Home Electronics Fair @ Suntec City, I got myself a Sharp LCD TV LC-32PX5m (32″) to put in my room. It is to replaced my CRT (the big ass one) TV that is from the prehistoric age. Sad thing is that the fellow will only come to my house to do the installation (mounting on the wall) earliest 1 week from now. Means the earliest I can get to use my TV will be 1 week later !
