THE END

3 years of my polytechnic life has finally came to an end. For the past 1 month, it was real hectic for me. I had 6 projects to hand up with majority of the deadlines on the same day; the rest of the deadlines was just a few days apart. Spent almost every single day for 2 weeks doing project. After that, I had another 5 papers with 2 being the major exam (50% of the module). Therefore, I spent the next 2 weeks everyday studying for exams. It was really tiring, both mentally and physically. Luckily, it has finally came to an end.

Somehow I find that the time in polytechnic passes damn quickly. After today, everyone would have embarked their journey to the next phase of life. Guys would be going to the National Service and the girls would be either going to University or be out in the working world. As for me, I’m going to repay my debt for Singapore. After that, hopefully would be able to get into NUS with the course of my choice.

I’ll be away to Japan from 28/02/09 to 11/03/09. Will be visiting cities like Tokyo, Kobe, Osaka and Nagahama. I need some retail therapy in Japan to compensate my “hard life” during the past 1 month !

PS: 19 more days to my last semester’s result *prays*

xeroy.net » Entry Hermes “H” Belt

I went to Raffles Hotel’s Louis Vuitton today intending to buy the LV Belt. However, after trying on, the buckle was too small for my liking. Hence I proceeded to Hermes @ Liat Tower to purchase my “H” Belt at SGD$960. Fortunately for me, they had a last new piece for the belt strap (if it was the display piece, I would not have bought it). The leather is really much more superior than Louis Vuitton’s and Hermes belt is indeed the epitome of all leather belts.

xeroy.net » Entry Louis Vuitton “Damier”

I was at the Louis Vuitton Store at Ngee Ann City(NAC for short) the other time when purchasing the Louis Vuitton Monogram Beauborg. All along, NAC Louis Vuitton has the worst customer service but surpisingly, the gentlemen who served us during our stay there was indeed very patient and was very polite (although he sounded more interested in talking to us about our upcoming Japan trip rather than explaining LV products). Whilst my mum and I was trying on the Beauborg, I also requested the Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Broadway for me to try on. It was the only chance not to feel paiseh cause we were actually buying the Beauborg. And no, I didn’t buy the Broadway at the end cause Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte has to come first (Beauborg will do fine for the time being).

All along, I was pronouncing Damier as “Dey-mere” but the way the Sales Assistant pronounced it was “DA-mere”. And since he has 10 years of experience working in LV, I believed he was correct in the pronunciation.

Moral of the story: Damier is pronounced as “DA-mere”
