Finally I’ve gotten my hands on the cap ! My friend sent it to me via Registered Airmail from Shanghai (Tracking number is RRXXXXXXXXXCN) to Singapore. He posted the article on 28th September and I got it on 6 October. Which is like 7 days (5 Workings Days, 2 Non Working Day).

As I’ve problems figuring out how to track the package, I’ll explain it here so that those who googled to my page will know how the process goes. If your registered article starts with RR (RR123456789CN), it means that your package is under Registered Airmail and not the normal EMS service. Registered Airmail is generally slower then EMS service. The CN behind the tracking number is the country which the article is posted. Therefore, to track Registered Airmail Packages sent from China (for my case in Shanghai), you can go to http://intmail.183.com.cn/item/trace/itemTraceAction.do?action=Enter and input your tracking number (RR123456789CN). You should be able to track it in 1 working day after it is registered. Please note that registered airmail cannot be track at ems (http://www.ems.com.cn/english-main.jsp) and it will not appear there.

When tracking at the China Post website, the above will be the full tracking that you’ll ever see. Thats the final update. That means you should now track your local post office and not the China Post (since they won’t update it anymore). Once you’re able to track at your local post office, it means that your item has already arrive at the destination and ready for delivery. If it says “Item Not Found” or something along that line when you track at your local post office, the registered airmail is then still on the way to your destination.

As for Singpost, once you’re able to track at http://www.singpost.com/ra/ra_article_status.asp (NOT speedpost’s track and trace). It means that your item is in Singapore and ready for delivery. I got my item on the same day when I saw the status “Arrival from Overseas”. Please note that you won’t be able to track Registered Airmail at speedpost’s track and trace.

So its been quite sometime since I updated my blog. The reason is being that I’m god damn lazy for I-don’t-know-why. The other reason is that I’m sick of my old blog design, which is this by the way. Its off center for some screen resolution and by that I mean most. Thats because the last time I “wordpress-ed” that theme, it was only for my resolution, by specifying pixels for “centering” the blog layout. Therefore, I’m in the process of designing a new layout. The new layout will be very simple, extremely simple. Thus making the blog more readable. Psst, thats a excuse for not putting in effort in designing since I suck at it. So stay tune for the new blog layout !

3 new caps and 1 new top for girlfriend. I asked my friend who went over to Taipei to get it for me as it would be cheaper. It was indeed cheaper but however the exchanged rate she got her Taiwan money for was tio tocked rate. So, it turned out to be more expensive. She changed her money at a rate of SGD$1 to NTD20 whereby the market rate should be SGD$1 to NTD21.70. I paid her according to what she changed as it would’t be fair for her since she helped me buy and she would lose money if I paid her according to the market rate (she said it was fine, I could paid her according to the market rate but I insisted not).

My second last semester result will be on next wednesday, 17th Sep 08. However, technically, we can get it on 16th’s (actually 17th) 3 to 4 am in our school mail. I’ll be up refreshing my email every 5 seconds like what I did last time in neopets, “restocking”.
