Its amazing how the 3 years in polytechnic passed so fast, much faster than when I was in secondary school. Gone were the times whereby you do not need to worry about your future and what your future company/job scope was like because it seem so ever-so-far away.

Anyway, for the Sun Microsystem, it was SGD$200 cash. Much less than I expected but atleast its better than nothing although its a little pathetic at a tertiary level. The $200 shall go in to my buy-a-lv-fund. Still not yet what I’ll be getting since I will have 2 years to decide what I want. No hurry.

Today is also my dad’s birthday ! Happy birthday dad ! Hope you liked the gift we gave you.

I’ve been awarded the Diploma with Merit. 3 years of hardwork !!! Or rather 2 years. I screwed up my first year mainly because of the business components which result in my cumulative GPA being pulled down quite abit. But nonetheless, I’m satisified with what I’ve achieved.

With regards to the Sun Microsystems Award, I totally have no idea how did I obtain the award. I did sign up for some java cert thingy but I didn’t went for any lesson (in SP) nor take the certification exam. Anyone out there has obtained similar award from SP ? If anyone has any idea what the Sun Microsystems Award is all about, please do drop me a comment here !
